Frisco Texas Grooves into Summer Time Fun!

Frisco, TX is a dynamic, family friendly growing city. Frisco and McKinney are in a tug-of-war with each other for the title of Fastest Growing City in the Nation right here in Collin County.

Frisco is always having fun things going on and this summer is no different. This past Friday night, my family and I enjoyed Frisco Grooves – a live outdoor concert at Warren Sports Complex in the park. It was so much fun! Terri Hendrix wailed on on the stage while the kids had a ball rolling down the hill. We had a great picnic while the enterprising Boy Scout Troop 289 sold candy to the picnickers and even volunteered to run up to the stage and run back to bring everyone ice cream so it wouldn't melt before it got to you!

It was so nice as it was well lit and you could keep an eye on the kids (and dogs) while they were playing on the playground equipment, enjoy the live music, a little adult talk and the pleasant June weather outdoors in Frisco. We are native Texans and summers always pack my favorite memories here of outdoor activities like these – concerts in the park, al fresco dining, dive in movies and such.

Come join us on Friday evenings for the rest of the free concerts in June from 7:30 - 9PM at the Warren Sports Complex in Frisco. Here's the line-up:

June 13 South Austin Jug Band
June 20 Sisters Morales
June 27 The Derailers
